As we call to re-verify MX track Listings, we are sad to learn about many many MX track closures. Some of the track closures are due to the economy, yet others have been forced to close and in some cases not even permitted to open due to noise levels or potential noise levels coming from MX tracks and trails. Whether you are visiting a practice track or a sanctioned MX race track, we urge everyone to respect the track owners by keeping your rides quiet. We found so many that we thought we would include them on our website. These are the direct links to the actual company sponsorship pages and applications. Start checking and applying at the beginning of September for the next season. Before applying for sponsorships, take some time to write your resume. Make sure that your resume includes your contact information at the top, Address, phone, full name, email, and website url if you have one. Keep the resume simple yet detailed. Include competition achievements, goals, and track experience (different tracks you that race and will race). Include a healthy photo of you and your bike so that a potential sponsor can see that you keep your equipment in good clean condition. If you are still in school, include your academic successes as well. Many companies want to know they are backing a well rounded, dedicated, athlete that will represent them and the sport well. Many Company sponsorships will disregard videos etc... due to the lack of time to preview them. You might want to create a "sponsor me" page on your own website that has multimedia on it so if a potential sponsor has the time they can just check out the page. If you do have a website url that you are sending to them as well, make sure it's clean and not cluttered with facebook style wall comments from your admirers.
