Another Year and another Tony Hawk skateboarding game. This years awaited release provides the skater a few more options in regards to game play. Don't worry all your favorite skate boarders are there but they have few extras that the Tony hawk video game fans will enjoy. (no spoilers in this review). Gaming options have been expanded as well. For instance you can choose a pro career path lifestyle, A hard core lifestyle, or you can take the lifestyle of a rigger.
Outfitting your skater has always been fun to do in the Tony Hawk series and you won't be let down with the choices you have to outfit this years batch of skateboarders as they progress through their chosen lifestyles. However, no matter which lifestyle path you choose, the gamer may become frustrated at the number of unnecessary overly complicated goals to accomplish in order to unlock those elusive extras. (hint one of the goals has something to do with the title: Proving Ground) Some of the goals and the controls needed to accomplish them can become clumsy, and definitely take away from the overall great skating and graphics experience that the game, Tony Hawks Proving Ground, does provide.
